Clearwater, Florida—Pure Air Control Services President and CEO, Alan Wozniak, announced today that an agreement has been reached with the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium’s (PAEC) Florida Buy program to offer its products and services through the state-wide purchasing cooperative. This means that governmental entities as well as non-profit organizations can utilize the contract to expedite the purchase of products and services offered through Pure Air Controls.
The PAEC “Florida Buy” program is recognized by the Florida Legislature as a purchasing option under the new 2016 law, FS. 1010.04 (1)(b). PAEC was established in 1967 as an Educational Service Center and offers numerous services to schools in the Florida panhandle and across the state. The purchasing program, however, was created as a free service to all eligible entities in Florida.
Pure Air Control Services, Inc. (PACS) is a nationally recognized indoor air quality firm with corporate headquarters based in Clearwater, Florida. Since 1984, PACS has provided professional IAQ services and support to public and private organizations and government agencies, spanning the U.S. and other countries. According to Wozniak, “the purchasing agreement essentially allows eligible entities to utilize the products and services of Pure Air Control Services without the delay of a competitive bid process. In many cases, we need to move swiftly to remediate and restore indoor air quality for a healthy and clean air environment”.
The Florida Buy agreement is based on Florida procurement rules allowing for “alternate contracts” created through previously awarded competitive bids as long as the pricing is beneficial to the governmental entity wishing to utilize the contract.

PAEC partners with the Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA) to leverage the purchasing power of schools in more than half the country ease the procurement of our IAQ testing and remediation services.
