During the warm temperatures like today, it takes only 2 to 3 days for mold to grow. The hot humidity in the air, makes the problem worse.
Mold can also create health concerns.
Homeowners can pick up respiratory problems, like an allergy.
Jack Fox, the Branch Manager of Amerestore Restoration said, “And that’s one of the difficulties in establishing if an illness is caused by the presence of mold or not. The best thing to do is contact an indoor air quality professional, have them check it out if you’re concerned.”
Prevent mold during the hot temperatures, Fox added, make sure keep your AC running during vacation, because if you turn it off, you’re not pulling any moisture out of the air. Also, make sure your air conditioner lines are clear.
