The American Lung Association of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Mold Task Force have cause for celebration. For the past seven years, they have met, brainstormed, drafted bill language, chased down legislators, jumped over hurdles and through hoops, and paved the way for the passage of SB125, a consumer and health protection Bill for the residents of New Hampshire.

SB125 requires that persons providing residential mold assessment services for mold contamination in residential dwellings be certified by certain professional organizations, and requires the board of home inspectors to inform the public that mold assessment professionals are required to be certified.
