Mold test can often be completed on a surface of the building, cabinets, clothes, and your indoor air. After a mold inspector takes samples from your home they are dropped of at one of the local LA Laboratories. Analysis for mold spores is typically done with a microscope.
Testing for mold can usually determine:
- types of mold on the surface of building materials
- how much mold (quantity) is on a surface
- what types of mold are found in the air (air quality)
